One of Scotland’s major public health challenges is tackling the stigma around male mental health.

In 2017, Scotland's male suicide rate was more than three times higher than the female rate.

In this session the panel will discuss what support we need to sustain good mental health.

Chaired by James Dornan MSP, Convener of Local Government and Communities Committee, this panel includes:

  • Wray Thomson, Founder of support group Man Chat
  • Stephen McAllister, Trustee for charity The Samaritans
  • Marilyn Edmond, Film Director
  • Ben Atiga, Player Liaison, Scottish Rugby

British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation and electronic notetaking is available at this event.
