Finland's decision to give homes to the homeless appears to be working. 

This panel will discuss what is making this scheme successful and whether this solution could work in the UK.

Chaired by Ken Macintosh MSP, Presiding Officer of the Scottish Parliament, this panel includes: 

  • Sanna Vesikansa, Deputy Mayor of Helsinki 
  • Mike Wright, Senior Service Manager of Outreach Services for homelessness charity Cyrenians 
  • Kate Farrell, Mayoral advisor on homelessness for Liverpool City Region 
  • Mark Johnson, former rough sleeper and founder of charity User Voice
